Did the Earth move for you too?
Well, I just felt my first LA earthquake. At 4.5 it was a decent one, and the ground wobbled for about 4 seconds. Kinda scary. Hopefully those mountains I drive through will still be there when I go to work in the morning.

I felt the earth move in 1966 in Bombay as it was then. Again it was in the middle of the night and a richter scale 5 shook the house and made things fall off the wall. I was living with a Muslim family - when Muslims were just ordinary folk like us - and we spent until morning wondering if there would be more tremors. The epicentre was 150 km away and there were a few deaths.
